Marathon Intensive Couples Therapy is a different way to do marriage counseling. It is the best way to address the impact of relationship betrayal . Instead of meeting once a week, it’s a faster and more focused approach for healing infidelity. In addition, the marathon approach is an especially a good choice for those who do not have time to go to weekly therapy sessions or need immediate help. Also, it is a good choice for those who do not live near a Certified Gottman Therapist but are willing to travel to experience the benefits.
The Benefits of Marathon Intensive Couples Therapy
The benefits include plenty of time to work on issues of betrayal and strengthen your relationship. In this therapy, you meet Craig Tucker, LCSW, for three days in a row. Mr. Tucker is a Certified Gottman Therapist and with more than 10 years of experience providing this approach. Most importantly, you get the time to talk deeply about your relationship struggles. Overall, this deep, structured process helps couples reconnect, repair enduring hurts, and move forward. Traditional therapy doesn’t allow for this level of discussion.
Most couples are surprised by how much resolution they experience through this therapy. As they go through the process, they often find it to be both powerful and life-changing. In the end, it helps them rebuild trust and, more importantly, strengthens their connection.
The Process of Marathon Intensive Couples Therapy
Marathon Intensive Couples Therapy begins with a full Love Lab Assessment. Before the marathon, each of you will have individual interviews. Next, you will complete relationship surveys, followed by a video assessment. These tools work together to reveal important patterns in your communication. Specifically, they show how you talk about your day and, just as importantly, how you handle arguments. Also, the assessments reveal how betrayal has impacted your relationship and you as individuals. Overall, they help identify strengths and challenges. In the end, this is all summarized in a detailed written report for you on the first day.
After the Love Lab assessment, we take a break for lunch. This allows time to reflect on the insights gained. Then, we transition smoothly into the treatment phase, where Mr. Tucker fosters a safe and supportive space for both partners to engage in meaningful healing. With expert guidance, you will carefully build the elements friendship for the relationship even during these hard discussions. You will be treated with kindness and respect, without judgment, every step of the way.
Priority is given to the most serious betrayal. You’ll have the time and space to process past hurts that never healed. You’ll also see how these wounds have affected your relationship over time. Plus, you’ll learn new ways to communicate. These skills will help you have better, more meaningful conversations. Most importantly, you’ll have time to rebuild and strengthen your connection. After completing the marathon session, you’ll get full access to the Gottman Relationship Coach tutorials.
The 3-day Marathon session costs $3670.00.
