314 W. Colton Avenue, Redlands, CA 92374 (909) 478-4442 lisa@tuckerworks.org

Lisa Tucker founded TuckerWorks in 2015 to teach art in Redlands and recently purchased a historic home with her husband to transform into their new art studio and psychotherapy office. The house was built in 1904 and the remodel has taken place from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to 2022. We offer art classes, couples counseling, and Art & Science of Love workshops, as well as exhibitions and other events.

Lisa Tucker, MFA, APCC

Lisa is a multidisciplinary artist and psychotherapist. She earned her MFA in Studio Art (UCI), MS in Counseling (CSUSB), and BA in Liberal Studies (CSUN), leading to an Elementary Teaching Credential. Her interest in ceramics began with her graduate work in bio-art while attending UC, Irvine. She fell in love with porcelain as a material while learning to throw and hand build small bioreactors as sculpture. Her work has been shown locally and internationally. She will be teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced ceramics for children and teens (8-17 yrs.) on Tuesday mornings/afternoons, and adults in the evenings.

Therese has been working with glass for over 30 years. She is skilled in both stained glass and fusing. Her interest began much earlier in life when she worked in Laguna Beach across from a stained glass shop. She said to herself, “One day, I will do that.” She’s sold her work in local art boutiques, art walks, and Art Under the Stars in Sun City. TuckerWorks Studio owns multiple pieces by Therese and is thrilled she has agreed to bring her classes to the studio. Check out one of her cute butterfly plant stakes in the front garden the next time you visit.
