Advanced Gottman Clinical Training for Complex Couples Therapy
Join us for three days of advanced Gottman Method training designed to deepen your clinical confidence and strengthen your ability to work with complex relational challenges. Gottman Level 2 Clinical Training offers an in‑depth exploration of assessment and intervention, with a clear focus on clinical observation and identifying co‑morbidities such as trauma, affairs, and addiction. Throughout the training, you will learn to apply these methods with nuance and precision, building skills that support meaningful change in the couples you serve.
Across these three days, you will engage in teaching, demonstrations, and hands‑on practice in small groups. You will work directly with me as you refine assessment protocols, strengthen intervention skills, and deepen your understanding of the Sound Relationship House. Through case‑based learning and guided practice, you will develop treatment‑planning strategies that support long‑term stability and relational health.

This training is for mental health providers, allied professionals and clergy, students and interns, family clinic staff, professors/teachers of couples therapy, researchers in the social sciences, and employee assistance professionals. There are no prerequisites.
Included in the registration price is a clinical training manual, which contains the core Gottman Method Couples Therapy assessments and interventions. You will be awarded a Certificate of Completion with an assessment score of 80% or better from The Gottman Institute.
No, there are no prerequisites. Pre-licensed mental health providers, students and interns, are welcome. Also, all allied professionals (clergy, family clinic staff, professors/teachers of couples therapy, researchers in the social sciences, and employee assistance professionals, and so on).

19 CE Hours are available for $40 through The Cognitive Behavioral Institute. You will receive a link via email to the CE application after course completion. After payment and satisfactory completion of the appropriate information with The Cognitive Behavioral Institute, they will email you a certificate within 48 hours.
Satisfactory Completion
Participants must have paid registration fees, signed in, attended the entire seminar, and signed out in order to receive a certificate. Failure to sign in or out will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available.
